October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Rexburg Car Shop is proud to participate in Brakes for Breasts, an annual campaign that brings automotive repair shops together to support breast cancer research.
The campaign gives customers an opportunity to take care of an important vehicle repair while helping contribute to a cause that affects millions of people and families.
What Is Brakes for Breasts?
Brakes for Breasts is a nationwide campaign involving independent automotive repair shops and industry partners. During October, participating shops offer a special brake promotion and support breast cancer research through the campaign.
The idea is simple: putting the brakes on your vehicle can help put the brakes on breast cancer.
For Rexburg Car Shop, participating is a way to combine the work we do every day with an opportunity to give back to a cause that reaches far beyond our shop.
How Does the Brakes for Breasts Promotion Work?
During the month of October, Rexburg Car Shop is offering free brake parts as part of our Brakes for Breasts promotion.
Customers are still responsible for the labor and applicable service charges.
In other words, if your vehicle needs brake work, October can be a great time to take care of it. The brake components covered by the promotion are provided at no charge, while you pay for the work required to install them.
Why Are We Participating?
Breast cancer has an impact on people in every community. Many of us know someone who has been affected — a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor.
Brakes for Breasts gives independent repair shops like us a way to participate in breast cancer awareness and fundraising while doing what we already do every day: helping people keep their vehicles safe and reliable.
October Is Also a Good Time to Check Your Brakes
Fall is here in Rexburg, which means winter isn’t far behind.
Before snow and icy roads arrive, it’s worth making sure your vehicle’s braking system is in good condition. Your brakes are responsible for creating the stopping force you need when you press the pedal, making properly functioning brakes especially important as driving conditions become more challenging.
If you’ve noticed squealing, grinding, vibration, pulling, a soft brake pedal, or another change in the way your vehicle stops, don’t ignore it.
October is an especially good time to have your brakes inspected.
Help Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer This October
If your vehicle needs brake work, come see us during October. You can take care of an important repair, receive the brake parts covered by the promotion at no charge, and join us in supporting the Brakes for Breasts campaign.
