Radiator
Did you know that your internal engine temperature can reach an average of 170-200+ degrees? That’s considered a comfortable running temperature too. A combustion engine actually runs off small explosions. Hence combustion engine.
That’s pretty dang hot. The radiator in your car is essential to its proper functioning. It helps to keep the engine cool and running smoothly, especially during the hot summer months.
Radiator Repair
Radiators keep things running smoothly and prevent catastrophic damage to your engine. When things inside get too hot, it can actually damage the engine by blowing gaskets and warping aluminum heads. Radiator care should never be overlooked – it’s an important part of keeping your car in good shape. Make sure to keep an eye on your engine temperature and get it checked out if something seems amiss.
If you’re driving down the road, suddenly you may see smoke coming from under your car’s hood. This could be an indication that you need to get your radiator checked out. Radiators can become clogged with debris or corroded over time, leading to overheating issues and potentially costly repairs. If you’re experiencing a sudden rise in temperature or if coolant is leaking out of the bottom of your car, it’s time to get your radiator checked out.
We use to take the radiators out of the vehicle and repair the damaged area, test it, and put it all back together. What would happen then is that 3 months or 6 months later it would leak from a different area, as the radiator is tired and compromised. We would do it all over again. The original idea was to save money, yet we found it was costing more money and more frustration. This was the old process and not a good repair for our customers.
Coolant Flushes
From time to time, your coolant needs to be replaced. It won’t stay good forever. It begins to break down and cause corrosion or build ups that could cause blockage. We flush the radiator clear to remove the old coolant and any blockages that may have occured. After that, we refill the system with new coolant to help maintain your engine’s integrity.
Radiator Replacement
We don’t bother doing repairs to radiators anymore since it cost our customers time and money. We replace the radiator including any suspicious hoses and a coolant fluid exchange if needed. The result is a much better repair that will last for years and keep the car running for thousands of miles.
By doing the services together it saves money and time, plus you get a two year nationwide warranty and a much better repair that can be relied on.
